Well here is our blog site. Before I used "octology" as our site name I checked it out and discovered it has to do with astrology - so I thought that might not be a great name for a group of pastors who are in dialogue about the mission of God. So I called this group "Eight in Dialogue."
I had a real good time with all of you and appreciated the questions and insights that were raised through our dialogues. Hopefully through this site we can keep the dialogue going.
Center Resources
Cinda asked about prioritizing resources available through the Center for Parish Development. Here are my recommendations:
Under Discerning God's Call: The following bible studies are helpful in either developing readiness or in Phase 3 - The Beatitudes, The Biblical Mission of the Church, The Church and the Coming Reign of God. The People Called by God Also, the articles found in Developing the Missional Church and Discerning God's Vision Together.
Under Leading Missional Churches: the article Transforming Leadership - From Competition to Koinonia is helpful.
Under Resources for Missional Transformation, the booklet entitled "Cultivating Missional Communities" is good.
Well that's a start.

Roland: I enjoyed our time together. I now have a plan for my Dmin project which is developing a plan for integrating the 5 development tasks of an Interim with the 5 development stages in Transformation. As part of our discussion in the car to the airport, I was hoping you could recommend a reading list for David Sawyer to approve for my Independant Study. Please do not make the list too long but relevant and to the point. I am currently reading the book Presence and Theory U for this study. Any other suggestions.
